Re: Remote Control Codes

Hi Bigburl,

Welcome to Community@Insignia™!

I got my hands on the User' Manual of the BDV-E570 that includes the remote RM-ADP053 and after doing some research about codes in that User's Guide and Sony's database, apparently the list of codes is really limited.

All the IR remote controls and receivers work in specific frequencies that some times are not compatible one with each other.

We usually advise the codes for Orion, Emerson, Memorex, Sansui, Sylvania and Zenith brands that use a similar frequency to ours but couldn't find any code for these brands in Sony's database to provide you.

My biggest recommendation would be to contact Sony for more assistance about Codes and also remember to ask if the remote itself has a "Search" or "Learning", those functions can help you finding the right code (if printed in the memory of the remote) or teaching the remote new codes.

Hope this helps and please keep me posted about your results with Sony.

Nicolas

Re: Remote Control Codes

Hi Mr_Colton,

Welcome to Community@Insignia™!

I am really glad to hear your love our Forum, we take care of it the best we can! Smiley Happy

After doing some research about the NS-22E430A10 TV model you have I found you have received a remote control model number NS-RC268-09 with it and that type of remote is not from the Universal type so there is no way to program it to command you JCX-TS790 Sanyo DVD home theater system.

I am sorry for the bad news but the remotes included in this TV model is a standard remote type.

Re: Remote Control Codes

I need codes to control Insignia 27" TV (INC2716) with time warner universal remote (UR5U-8700L-TWA)  (CLIKR -5).

I have used all of the suggested codes for Insignia and several other brands plus clicking forever on auto detect feature of the universal remote.  Still haven't found anything that works.  Any assistance would be sincerely appreciated.

Re: Remote Control Codes

Hi jayvj,

Welcome to Community@Insignia™!

I am currently doing some research to find all the information possible about this TV model you own and the Time Warner remote.

To be honest it may take me a couple of days because this a product that has been discontinued for some time.

Meanwhile please confirm if you have tried the Compatible Brands that uses similar frequencies to ours, they will be Orion, Emerson, Memorex, Sylvania, Sansui and Zenith.

I'll keep you posted about any information I may find for you! Smiley Wink

Re: Remote Control Code-SamsungDirecTV

Hi Droderick,

Welcome to Community@Insignia™!

I promise to do my best to help you get that code still there is a particular situation about TV/DVD Combos.

Usually Universal / Cable universal remotes are able to program TV's or DVD's by separate but there are just a few remotes that are able to be programmed to command both portions using the same code.

In this case is really common to be able to program the Universal remote to command the TV portion but not able to program or command properly the DVD portion due to the fact that it doesn't use a separate IR receiver than the TV portion.

To start, I would recommend to try the codes for our Compatible Brands, they are Orion, Emerson, Memorex, Sansui, Sylvania and Zenith as I have recommend other users and if that doesn't work you may need to get in contact with Samsung to check if that specific remote model includes any code for our brand in it's code memory.

Even though, if you want to share the Samsung remote control model number I can definitely do further research from my end.

If you have found my assistance useful, please click on the Kudos button next to this message.

Hope to hear from you soon! Smiley Very Happy

2 remotes???

Just purchased Insignia 19" LED HDTV NS-19e430a1 ... and have it hooked up to DishTV.

The remote control that came with the TV controls on/off and the volume of the TV.  The remote control with DishTV controls only the channels.  Is there a way to have ONE remote control control both functions??

On the old tv ... the DishTV remote control controled ALL the functions.  Ideally that's what I'd like.

Any suggestions??

Re: Remote Control Code IS-TVDVD20A HELP! CANT FIND CODE ANYWHERE!!

Just bought a PHILIPS univeral remote at WALMART.

The remote is a PHILIPS SRU5107/27.

Programming the remote with code 1342 will work both the TV and DVD functions !!!!

The only thing is doesn't do is get into the TV MENU function and it doesn't EJECT a DVD.

All the other main function work perfectly with just that one code !!!

Good Luck

Hello kabes62,

Welcome to Community@Insignia™!

Try code 720 on your Dish Network remote control.  Let us know if it works for you!
