3 years old. Therefore outside the prescribed warrabty period>
TV will not turn off and stays on with white screen. Tried multiple power cycles. On first plugging in power I get in order:
1. Insignia boot screen. (https://img.frl/tnndx)
2. Black screen with channel number. (https://img.frl/6j4w4)
3. Video blocked screen flashes briefly. (https://img.frl/z9s80)
4. White screen with letter M.(https://img.frl/0mj5w)
TV does not respond to any remote or direct buttons on side of TV.

Thank you so much for your sharing your TV issue with us! I appreciate the time you’ve taken to document what steps you’ve taken to try to resolve the issue at hand with your 40” TV.
Since you’re unable to get to the MENU options resetting the TV back to manufacturer defaults wouldn’t be an option for you either. At this time we’d be unable to make any official recommendations what the possible issue could be, or how to self-remedy it. It’s our sincere hope that other community members with a similar experience will be able to point you in the correct direction.
