Thank you for sharing the details of your troubleshooting. Given that your attempts have been unsuccessful, it is likely your TV will require repairs. Since your TV was purchased less than a year ago, service should be covered under the factory warranty.
Your local Geek Squad should be able to assist with arranging repairs if your TV is 42" or less. You can schedule an appointment by visiting We're Here to Help and selecting "Make a Reservation" under "Getting Help is Easy." If your TV is larger than 42" please call Geek Squad at 800-433-5778 to schedule a technician to visit your home.

So what do you do if none of this works? Does insignia replace remotes for free? I sure hope so. Especially since this is a common mistake. I've had mine for about 3 weeks and it's already dead. Shameful that this quality of technology exists.
