Class 24" TV, volume bar

i just got an Insignia 24" to replace an old Westinghouse in my bedroom - it is now the 4th Insignia in my home. When I adjust the volume (either with the Insignia remote or my cable universal remote) I get a small "bubble" on the lower left of the screen with a numeric indication of the volume. I would far prefer the bar indicator that I have on the other three Insignias (a 19", a Roku 24", and a big one). I've gone through the user's manual and can't find an option setting to change from "numeric" to "bar" as volume indicator. .

If this is a permanent display change then I'll live with it - the set is excellent in all other ways - but if there is a setting I'm missing please guide me. Best, Jon

Re: Class 24" TV, volume bar

Hello jwm57,

Welcome to our community! Thank you for your recent purchase. It’s very exciting to hear that this TV is your fourth Insignia TV. I’d be happy to double check if there’s an option to change the volume display.

Can you please share the model number of your 24” TV? I look forward to your reply.

Respectfully,

Mariah

Re: Class 24" TV, volume bar

Hello Jon,

Thank you so much for sharing your TV model number with me. While reviewing the manual, and the advanced sound settings changing the display for it as it appears on your TV isn’t among the options available. I understand that is a bit disappointing since you’d prefer the bar display. Please let us know if you have any further questions!

Respectfully,

Mariah

Re: Class 24" TV, volume bar

Thanks for the info Mariah. I'll just have to use my ears to judged the volume level, no tthe most difficult thing in the world to do <g>. Good picture, good sound, I'll not worry about the display of the volume level.

Best, Jon
