I am surprised to not see something about this on here because there are lots of posts online and no solutions....HELP! After waiting on the phone for over an hour for tech support for Sharper Image I gave up.  My new ereader is flashing the start up screen.  It is charging. I do not know how to turn it off.  I tried pressing the power button, pressing the reset in the back and neither works.

I was in BB yesterday to buy a gift card. I saw the Literati in the front of the store and thought for $50 it's a really good buy. I then read the reviews/problems most people (it seems) are having with this and decided not to buy. If I were you and you don't get a respond - return or exchange a.s.a.p. Hope it works out for ya though - what a shame for the price it seems to be a great deal.
