im wondering if i can exchange my ipad2 its open but i only open it its still brand new im wondering if i can return it and get ipad3 i bought it 3/7/12

If u bought it on the 7th you'll have 30 days to return it

As of March 4th the return policy was changed to 30 days for all items to standardize it.
