I just purchased an iPad 2 rumor that iPad 3 will be out in couple of weeks ? Will I have the option to return my ipad2 and upgrade to iPad 3?

You have the option of returning your iPad within the 14 day return policy. But keep in mind everything is a rumor right now Apple hasn't come out with any announcement yet.

only for iPhones it's 30 days. anything else sold in apple store has 14 day return policy

Best Buys return policy clearly states that you have a 14 day return policy for iPads. Try taking the receipt and the product, along with photo ID and, if you have it, the card you used to purchase it with, back to the store. Explain you want the iPad 3, they should be able to offer you a store-credit you can use when it comes out March 17. Good luck!

P.S. Many Best Buy stores have an Apple store inside, hence the Apple reference.
