I won an iPad two in a raffle and its brand new and never opened . Can I take it to a Best Buy store and get money for it?

Best Buy has a trade-in prgram, but be advised that they will pay you absolutely the rock-bottom lowest price.  You would be better selling it online or through one of the sites that specializes in buying electronic hardware, such as gazelle.  If you use BB trade-in, you will lose a significant amount of money.

I think it's $245 for a good condition iPad 2. Like the above poster said you could probably eek out another $100 on CL or eBay.

Also do NOT open it if selling on CL or eBay. Opening it drops the price significantly as there are many knockoffs on the market.

If stores are smart, they will open it anyway... too many clay versions.

I recommend you try selling it privately with family, friends, people at the office or just keep it as backup.

Hmm.... I wonder if there is a warranty on raffled iPads.

I wasn't talking about the store opening it, I was talking about keeping it sealed to sell on CL and eBay. A sealed one sells for more and much quicker
