android tablets & facebook

Can someone tell me if you can play facebook games / any of the zynga games on an android tablet.  I understand it does come with flash - however some people are saying yes and some are saying no. Zynga has not answered me back on this either.

I'm interested in getting the asus eee transformer.

Thanks.

No, you cannot play the web based flash games.

Thanks - that is so silly to have flash and then not be able to play flash based games. Thank you.

Re: android tablets & facebook

That is not correct. I own the transformer and I can play the flash based facebook games perfectly fine including Zombie lane, galaxy ii, and I just downloaded cityville though it isn't something I play but just wanted to see if it would work and it works flawlessly.

Re: android tablets & facebook

Are you talking about the download versions that you install locally, or the web-based games? I know that they can play the download versions, but they have trouble with the web based versions.

Re: android tablets & facebook

Nope. Web based as I stated. I haven't had any issues with any web based game I have played. There are no specific apps that you download locally for those games. I can also play the little flash games online at addicting games.com without issue.

Re: android tablets & facebook

Good to know. I have been reading reviews of the various Android tablets, and a common theme was issues with flash based games.

So far the only thing I haven't been able to make it do without the assistance of splashtop viewing to my laptop is play netflix. Neither the app, nor the hack works yet but hey I'm in no rush and splashtop comes free with the transformer for the full version and so when I do have a netflix on my tablet urge it works.

Re: android tablets & facebook

I think some of the issues with Flash and Facebook games may have been problems in Honeycomb 3.0.x that were fixed in 3.1

I don't play any of those games so I can't really comment.

Get the dock for it. Defintiely a must-have accessory for arguable one of the best Android tablets on the market today.
