Hi! I am thinking of buying a tablet. I would like it for:

-both reading kindle books and nook books

-calender and phone book stuff

-email, FB @ times

-maybe some work type documents

I see alot of really cheap ones, but they are unknown brands...are those still good to buy?

Any help would be great!

When it comes to buying a tablet, remember these six little words:

You get what you pay for.

NO, the cheap ones are not nearly as good as the name brand ones.

You do have a few great choices. I would recommend just stickking to something like asus, motorola, sony, samsung and toshiba. I would recommend the asus transformer prime. By far the best tablet on the market. You can buy a keyboard dock for it so it turns into a netbook!! Well worth it for the price also. Do your research there are some great products.

Well if you can wait I would first see what the iPad 3 will be all about. It might blow the Transformer Prime out of the water.
