I went to the Bestbuy on Sw 3rd in Oklahoma City after a co-worker called me and said he saw on Woot website that Bestbuy had a $99 tablet by HTC. He advised me to make some calls to locate one and since it was my birthday and I was off work getting my wife's car serviced for a trip, I was literally 600 feet from a Bestbuy store and walked in and walked straight to the tablet area and believe it or not the HTC rep, Dru, was standing there discussing this unit with a Bestbuy sales associate. I said that I did not know which one it was, but that I would like to purchase one. The Bestbuy associate informed me that it was a mistake and the price was wrong. Yes there was a disclaimer on top of the display area. I was ready to chalk it up as a lost cause and looked down before leaving the store and noticed it had a $99.99 shelf tag and I said to the associate that I would like to purchase it at that price. He attempted to ring it up, but it said $299.99. I asked him to get his manager and he did. The General Manager came and informed me that he did his due dilligence and posted the disclaimers. I said, I am not looking at pieces of paper and was ready to buy it at the price marked $99.99. They refused to sell it at $99.99. I am of the opinion if it is on a shelf marked $99.99, then that should be the price. They should have honored the $99.99 and shut me up. Instead Bestbuy on SW 3rd is going to be sued in small claims court in Oklahoma County court. Are you serious that the idiots could post a disclaimer and still fail to remove the price tag that is wrong. Stay tuned for updates and I will let you know what comes of this.

Well, looks like the word has gone national. It's on CNN and I just heard my local news will be running a story, "Best Buy's Misprint Leaves Buyers Empty Handed."

16GB HTC Flyer Tablet $100 - Slickdeals.net

I am extremely disappointed in how the "pricing mistake" on the HTC Flyer was handled. This shows an utter lack of honor and integrity in the store. After years of being a loyal customer I can now say that I will never shop at Best Buy again and many others are feeling the same way. In the end a potential loss of $200 on the product will be nothing compared to a lifetime of sales lost from me.

Shame on you Best Buy - you have no honor nor integrity.
First, you lie about the price and claim it was a "mistake" (more like fraud to dupe unsuspecting customers into giving you their credit card information in good faith).
Then, your minions in customer (lack of) service claim that ALL internet orders were cancelled, when in fact, they were NOT.
This is yet another outright lie as units were in fact delivered to customers.
What's next - charging credit cards for products never delivered?
For a company that intentionally lies to customers, I highly doubt that committing credit card fraud can be far from the next step.
How can you treat your customers with such a deep lack of respect - you claim you made a "mistake" - you should at least be honest enough to own up to it and suffer the consequences. Allowing some units to be sold/delivered to some customers while others had them taken right out of their hands in-store is simply wrong - the store manager wouldn't even allow the units to be sold at full price. How many store managers/employees/cretins were then able to purchase these at $99.00?
Isn't it ironic that when someone in the real world makes a "mistake", they have to pay for it - but you seem to think you are above that - a corporate entity that is entitled to act in any reckless manner it sees fit. It could be argued that you are paying for your mistake as you had UPS intercept undelivered units and ship them back to you. Wow - one company making money off of another, while everyone's customers left empty handed.
Rest easy you over-paid executives - not that any of you care about the people supporting your extravagant lifestyles. Perhaps you are reading this right now on a tablet that you undoubtedly never paid a cent for.

These bass turds still have my money and it doesn't look like I will be seen my money until sometime next week. It is amazing that they took it out of my account in less then 30 seconds and takes days to get my f'ing money back. I have called and called and get no where and a "sorry" that means nothing at this point.
Enough of this BS, BB you owe me interest and then some.
YOU HAVE NOT HEARD THE LAST FROM ME BEST BUY, I will not stop until you go bankrupt, enjoy it while you can because this is only the beginning.
