If you have a new one, can you still do the Trade-In Program?

I got a Tablet for my birthday a few weeks ago. I never ended up opening it (it's really not my thing), I was wondering if I could trade it in at a Best Buy store even thought it is unopened? My Best Buy store says that it accepts a no receipt trade in.

Thanks for any help.

(I did try looking for a trade-in part of this forum, but could not find any.)

Sorry, I can't seem to edit the original post. I don't have a Best Buy receipt for it, but I do have one from Amazon, where my friend got the Tablet.

No, you r return period would have been 14 days.  Besdt Buy does not accept retiurns from any other source, regardless of age or condition. You could perhaps use it as a trade in, but be warned that Best Buy will give you the absolute worst (lowest) price in the industry for your products....you'd do much better to sell it on eBay.
