What is Best Buy's return policy on tablets like the Kindle Fire one that has been opened? I was wanting to exchange it for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.

When did you purchase your Kindle Fire?  Any tablet purchased after March is eligible for a return or exchange for 30 days from the date of purchase.  Just bring the Fire, your receipt, and any accessories that came with it to the Customer Service desk at your local store and we should be able to get you set up with something that'll work better for you.

Don't know if I'm doing this correctly.  I'm trying to find out how to return a Tab 2 tablet by mail for refund.

We will only accept a return by mail if you made your purchase on BestBuy.com. For in store purchases, please return your Tab 2 to any Best Buy store.

If you did make your purchase with us online:

1. Pack your return in the original shipping package, if possible.
2. Include the packing slip and return label,and indicate the reason for the return.
3. Include all original packing materials, manuals and accessories.
4. Send your return to:

   Findlay, OH 45840

For proof of delivery, we recommend that you return items via UPS or insured USPS.
