That was the situation I was most afraid of and that's why I finally gave up and cancelled. I gave BB the benefit of the doubt too long. Just go with the one from BJs.  Arrived in a solid outer box and is definately champagne.  I've seen the grey ones and honestly, it PALES in comparison to the champagne.  The champagne is beautiful, legit.  I'm glad I didn't just admit defeat and go with grey.

The best part is, all the ipad users at Starbucks were looking over our shoulders at my wife's tablet while she was typing away at her dock and swiping things on the screen.  Some thought it was an ultrabook, some thought it was an ipad with a case and dock on it, all mentioned it looked beautiful.  I was never big fan of ASUS, but aesthetically, they got this one good.  And functionally, I have yet to really see a huge problem with my wifi or bluetooth as mentioned by other users of the tablet.

I'm not trying to rub it in or anything... Just saying... GET IT ANY WAY YOU CAN!!!

I ordered one from Amazon last night.  Expected delivery is 15 Feb, so my wife's Christmas present will be one day late for Valentine's Day.  I should have done that weeks ago.

I am really happy with the Series 7 Slate so far.  It is really nice having a Windows 7 tablet.  It basically has desktop power, in a tablet form.  The battery life and price are the only downfall, which I don't really care about.

FYI......Just had my first "issue"... !!!!!     Came home to my Prime, hit the power button, and.......nothing !!!!   Bent n delerious, I plugged it in, and the tiny LED on the power button came on (charging), so at least I had some type of "signs of life".  Let it charge a bit, thinking maybe my 74% of batt. life I had walked away from this morning somehow got ate up and was flat 0.  Three hours later, hit the power button and......nothing.  Furiously searched the forums online, and learned of the "cold reset".......worked fine and now all back to normal TG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Last thing I wanna do is send my Brick back to Asus.  Again, FYI if ya's run into it.....
