I ordered my Asus Transformer Prime last night at the store, for they were out of stock. They told me i was going to get mine between Feb. 2-7 2012, Then i got a email this morning saying it was on back order. I've been hearing people saying that they haven't gotten theirs since they have ordered it and want to be assured that i get mine. I really don't think any electronic should be on backorder and should always be in stock. I just need to know that I will be getting mine in 1-2 days or when they told me the date before i got that email.

Same thing happened to me. I went to the store yesterday and the lady was like yes we have them in stock. I was like YES, so I paid for it, then realized as I walked out the store she sold me the Transformer not the Prime. So I went back in and they were like we don't have them in stock. So they ordered it on-line for me in the store. Now this morning I got the letter saying it's backordered. I'm like totally not happy at all!

I'm so glad somebody responded to this! they told me that i could go another city for it which it was already night, and with 2 kids tired and ready to go home i was not going to, so she ordered the prime for me at the store and told me the dates of when it would be in, and now i have that email thats bugging me so much! I'm scared they are gonna not send it to me or I'm gonna have to wait a month for it, ( ive looked at different forums that have said this) All the cities that popped up said they didnt have them so I'm seeing everybody else is gonna be ticked about this too! Hoping they are gonna get in in ASAP i didnt pay the money i did for it not to arrive when they told me.

Same, well last night they looked and said there were 5 other stores in the tri-state area that had them. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio..so I was like they are to far to travel to, 3 were in Northern Ky, 1 was in IN, and the other was an 1 hour away where i live in ohio. So I was like just order it. Today I looked on their website and no city/best buy around Cincinnati has it in stock. I really hope i get the item also, I hope that it doesn't turn into where it's on back order then the item never gets shipped.

they said the primes will be in by 2-7 febuary just called in

Yes, i recieved it last thursday. I love this tablet i think its way better the my ipad, and my husband thinks the same and he is a apple person. He wants the tablet after i buy the newer one next tax time. I thought the whole being out of stock thing was ridiculous especially with it being popular. Ive learned if its not in the store then i can wait.

oh, thats great!! I am on two weeks now of waiting! I am very excited to get it and the wait is pretty annoying. When I bought it in store, they just said it was out of stock and it would be there on the next truck. But two weeks later, nothing!
