Re: customer service

Welcome to the forum, sam0622

You've come to the right site, although this particular thread is probably misplaced. The folks that can help you may take a few days to respond...especially since they don't work on weekends.

What model did you buy? What model did they deliver? Do you have the invoice?

Re: customer service

Maybe you don't have the correct devices hooked up.  There are view components available currently that are truly capable of utilizing the 120 hz.  A blu-ray player is one of them.  If you're watching regular cable TV and see 60 hz at the top of your screen, you weren't delivered the wrong TV, you just need more stuff as far as technology is concerned.  LOL

Nothing I post is an official statment of Best Buy or Geek Squad, it is only a helpful opinion!

Re: customer service

In many cases it is not that the tv is only 60Hz but that the signal being sent to you is only being sent in 60Hz mode. If the signal were being sent at 120 you would get it at that rate.

Re: customer service

yeah gstang69...cuz you'll get a better product from Walmart...like a tv from there isnt gona burn out in a year...Mmmm Vizio, now thats a good product.

Realistically, almost any program you watch on high definition tv is going to currently be in 60hz. The only devices that are currently going to support 120hz are going to be Blu Ray players and the Playstation 3 because it runs blu ray also. With those you will see the 120hz capability. As long as the model matches what you ordered, then this is the case and the tv is not a mix up.
