Dear Best Buys, 

    We just brought a Insignia LCD 39" LCD Television and we are trying to hook up our DVD Player to it. The ports on the back of our DVD player is as followed Component, Output, and then AV 1 and a speaker hook up. Please help. We have a clear colorful picture and NO sound. Please tell us how to hook it up

The DVD player and TV should have both red and white audio jacks. You'll connect those together to have audio for the component cables.

On your DVD player, your audio cables should be connected to the "Audio Out" ports which are Red (Controls right speaker) and White (controls left speaker). I believe on your Insignia LCD 39" LCD TV the audio in ports are directly below where it says "component in" and above the orangish coaxial port. I hope this helps.
