Re: Unsure of which to Buy?

I get to look at these every single day.  Value-wise, the ST30 gives you a great picture for the cheapest price.  If you could fit it (and fit it), I'd tell you to jump up to the 50" model, but I know we sold our display a couple months ago :/.  Between the 6900 and the 5600 I, personally, prefer the 6900 series.  Love the super slim framing, picture quality, and the QWERTY remote that comes with it.  The LG just doesn't seem as crisp as the other two to me.  However, I do love the 3D on LG TVs.  Considering that all 3 of your picks have 3D capability, I'm assuming that it's a feature you're wanting on the unit.

Also, you should check out some of the new LG models for this year.  The 6200, 6700, and 7600 are all really sexy models that have just arrived in stores.

Re: Unsure of which to Buy?

Yeh the reason the LG doesn't look as good is because their black levels, although dropping considerately this last year, are still not close to on par with Samsung and Panasonic in plasmas.

I haven't seen detailed reviews and readings from this years TVs yet, so hopefully LG continues to go in the right direction.

Re: Unsure of which to Buy?

I guess LG's black levels on 2011 models weren't one of the highly acknowledged specs but if you check out some of the sneak previews of the 2012 models on youtube, you'll see that their technology has matured.
