We just purchased this TV tonight and were able to connect to our Roku easily. However, nothing we have tried is working to get the TV to connect to our cable box. We haven't setup the Chromecast as we aren't sure we'll use it yet. We have no idea why it won't locate our channels and connect to our box. Help please??

Can you please provide me some more details? I’d be happy to see what kind of troubleshooting advice I can provide to you.
How does your cable box connect to your TV? Do you need to have your TV on a certain channel? When was the last time you updated your cable box? Sometimes due to advances in technology your cable box may need updated.
You can always try to scan for channels in the TV's menu, and select cable instead of over the air. This may be the issue.
