TV & Home Theater

I've just connected my Samsung TV to a Samsung 5.1CH Blu-ray home surround system and all the system works perfect when connected to the TV directly....but when I connected it thru the Directv box there's NO sound.  I tried to check off the TV speakers on the TV menu, but that option is not highlighted on the TV menu...any help on this?

You need to run an optical cable out of the TV back into the home theater system.

When you are watching regular TV (not a Bluray), you will switch to the optical input from your theaters system's input selector.

On a side, note...what's your game? Baseline or serve/volley?

Baseline player myself.  My net game sucks, but I love the baseline rallies.

My backhand volley is pretty solid, but my forehand volley needs work.

I too enjoy the baseline, but I respect the net rushers.
