TV Mounting

I've just purchased a Dynex TV mount for a 32" Samsung LED....The screws that affix the brackets to the back of the TV seem to be too narrow in circumference...yet I was told this mount would fit my new tv.  I told the Best Buy associate what kind of TV I was buying the mount for.  I'd like to get this TV on the wall, but can't seem to figure screws out!

Re: TV Mounting

The mounting holes on the TV are a standard.  I am assuming that when you assembled the mount, you somehow mized up screws and used the ones meant for the back of the TV somewhere else.

Check the manual to be sure, but IIRC Samsungs need M8 x 19mm screws. The Dynex kit only comes with M6 bolts which is why they're too thin. If you don't want to return the kit you should be able to get the bolts you need from your local hardware store.
