TCL 49S405

Some confusion. The specs on the Best Buy website says this model has no HDR, but the TCL website says that it does. Who's right?

Re: TCL 49S405

well that does not make life less confusing.

The conundrum is that the info that Best Buy (and other stores) put on their web sites comes directly from the manufacturer.

I would go with what the manufacturer's web stie indicates. However, if Best Buy is correct, which they often are. Then you need to confront the manufacturer.

Any Best Buy team members care to clear this up?

Re: TCL 49S405

Good Afternoon MikeSandlin,

Best Buy tries to be as accurate as we can with product listing on BestBuy.com. Most times we post exactly what a manufacturer gives us. HDR is a big deal, and I understand the discrepancy you noticed can be confusing.

I’ve asked our business teams to review the product listing for accuracy. If it needs to be updated they’d be happy to see that it gets the attention it needs. To be honest, it would be best to assume that the TCL TV you’re interest in does have HDR as the manufacturer would be the expert in this case.

Thank you for your joining our community to seek our advice on this matter! I hope you have a great day. Please let me know if you’re need of help picking a TV I’d be happy to make a recommendation.

Respectfully,
