Message came up on television that it was running hot. Turned it off and dusted air vents. Went to turn television back on and it blinks green and than starts to blink red. No picture comes on.

SXRD is plagued with the heat problem.  Yours is probably dead now.  The sheer complexity of the SXRD system, and the high wattage lamp required to overcome the light output drop makes the system have to use very high wattage lamps, which get very hot;  It is one of the reasons why SXRD didn't last long (in Sony TVs).
