Just purchased a new Samsung LED 1080/120. I don't have HD service at my house. And I'm assuming that is the reason for a slightly pixelated image. Is that correct. I've tried adjusting settings but no avail. At the moment I'm disappointed with the product but hoping for an easy solution without having to bring the TV back.

We need more clarity on how your TV is connected.
Do you have an antenna connected to the TV, or some type of set-top box?
You can receive local channels in HD with an antenna. Major network broadcast should look pretty good if the show is in HD.
If you really enjoy TV, it's worthwhile to contact your local providers about HD and at least see what kind of deal you can get.

The TV is hooked up through Dirrect TV (not a n hd box though). No antenna either. I believe the superbowl was HD and the picure was awful.

Ok, I see it now....
You got two options...
Settle for over-the-air local channels that look great for free, or pay out some loot on cable or satellite.
Or the third option...only watch Bluray movies.
