I was given a insignia 5.1 home theatre package as a gift but i dont know what reciever or what else i need to or should get with it. I have a 42'' 720hd insignia tv but i would mostly use it for my ps3. Im not looking to spend a ton of money or have the best theatre system i just want something that will match well with the speakers i have and have no idea what to get. Any help or advice would be great

I also recommend the Denon AVR-1611. I am a Denon fan but you can also look at Yamaha as well.

Do your speakers have any type of connectors on the end

the speakers just have red and black holes in the back with tightening things around them and the wires themselves are just a wire with the end stripped off. If thats anything helpful lol

The Denon AVR-391 is my recommendation as well. 3D pass through, 4 HDMI inputs, easy to set up, and supports most Dolby formats.
