I have a Onkyo 8 series HT receiver and currently is is connected to a PS3 in a large wall unit. The problem is the PS3 is not getting enough air and get very hot. I am moving the PS3 and my Xbox upstairs to my office and making a room for gaming and football watching. With that said, I still miss the wireless nextwork streaming of video and music content from the PS3 to my HT receiver and Samsung LED DLP 67 in the living room. So I have been looking over all the free standing Blue Ray players and I am wondering is there anything or anyone that can tell the cheapest but best way for quality to have something that will play BR discs and wireless stream music and video to my HT receiver like the PS3 without the game card and heating issues? Keep in mind this is a large wall unit so a free standing BR player with wifi that works with Vista would be great. But if there is another way like get a cheaper BR player but then something that just WIFI streams video and audit than I am all for it.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What are the specs of your wireless/wired network and how many things do you have on it?

Wifi streaming of audio is easy. Something like maybe the Squeezebox, or I think the newest WD TV units may have networking support?
Standard def video is also easy if you have good signal strength.
High def video is difficult - you'll need a good solid 802.11n network with no interfering networks (5 GHz N over short range is pretty much it. You're almost guaranteed to take a major performance hit from interference in the 2.4 GHz band.)

Excellent I like the squeezbox idea. I am running a Wireless G set up but I am on Fios type network and really have not had any issues with streaming from the PS3 for video or audio so maybe Squeezbox is the way to go.
