Opinions on PowerNet

Hello -

I'm looking to improve my connection speed over my current wireless.  I'm looking at the PowerNet from Monster - Does anyone have experience with this device?  Sounds like a good deal - Much easier than running the cables.  Also - What devices do I need?  PowerNet 200 or PowerNet 300 or both?

Thanks.

Todd

Re: Opinions on PowerNet

I have one by rocketfish and it works great. I've also installed several of the Netgear models and have great luck with them also. I don't think I've installed any from Monster, but it's Monster so it should work great.

Mine came with two devices. The bridge, which would connect to your router and then into power. Then the switch, which has four ports on it that connects to power and your internet devices. Not sure which powernet you need, but basically you need a bridge and a switch. Mine came with both in the same box. I would look into the Rocketfish and Netgear powerline kits because they cost less than the Monster. I have the model# RF-GUV1124
