I recently purchased a Panasonic 55" plasma and the Panasonic BTT770 home theater system. I have Time Warner cable and the cable box for HD. If I hook the cable box directly to the TV using HDMI cable I get all channels. When I hook the cable box to the Blu-ray on the home theater using HDMI and HDMI from the home theater to the TV I can only get HD channels. Can anyone help me?

Why bother watching anything but HD? I find I don't watch reagular channels anymore, just HD.

Seeing how the on-demand channels, 3d channel as well as some others are not in HD makes it difficult to watch them doesn't it? Thanks for your comment but I figured it out on my own.

HDMI is a "live" standard, and not every piece of electronics you own is going to keep up. Use an alternate connection for audio, and run the video signal straight to the TV.

That is what I did. I figured it out on my own. Thanks.
