Hey guys! I’m afraid that Sammy may be kicked out of the soon coming OLED tournament that’s set for this year’s 2012. That may be hard for Samsung Electronics but let us allow the market to decide its faith. You never can tell. May be Samsung Electronics has another strategic technology on hold.

This isn't the first lawsuit Samsung has paid out. As a whole Samsung is a shady practicing business now (denying rightful repair claims, stealing tech from Apple etc).

I would have said that Apple pulling its processor developement from Samsung was a larger hit to their bottom line then this lawsuit

Samsung display has become a progressively shadier company I don't really trust them. Samsung enginners made all that tech for apple any ways though.

They will probably have to swtich to white Oled just to compete with LG. RGB Oled is more expensive and is harder to make and has that stupid blue shift.

Because they made the tech does not mean the own or invented the tech. Some Samsung engineers that were employed by Apple to create the tech, did. Samsung wanted to steal the tech for themselves without having to pay for R&D.

Of course I don't know all the ins and puts of their contract, but I do know Apple sued and won.

Even with all this recent bs from their customer "bailout" with TVs and the UPP that will be implemented soon, I still think Samsung is a great company. They make the best smart phones in the world and it stops right before TVs. They need to focus some of their korean chi on making TVs that work good instead of TVs that ONLY look good. OLED TV is no exception. Even though it hasnt been released, people are saying its inferior, which usually means

UPP is going to kill thier market..... Sony is dead in the water are they are goign to try it too. 

LG is going to be the real winner in this if they keep marhcing the quality up, $400 less for a similar (maybe even better some times) set is going to sell a lot more sets. Samsung is saying FU to every who wants to buy one of our sets.
