Does anyone know when the new 75 hour TiVo Premier (TCD746500) will be in stock at Best Buy?  The TiVo press release seemed to indicate that it would be in stock last Sunday, but my local Best Buy had no clue what I was talking about.

Not sure any of us likely will.  We carry the 45 hour, 150 hour, and 300 hour models.  I doubt that we'll actually carry anything besides the 45 hour version in our core stores.  As of right now, we don't even have this model on our website although I do notice other online retailers carrying it.

Thanks for the reply.  The 45 hour one has been discontinued by TiVo, so eventually that will disappear from stock.  But your response at least lets me know that nothing is imminent.

I'll have to double check our stocks in store as well.  We received 3 Tivo boxes last night when we were already pretty stocked.  See if they sent something new.

Actually, we just received them last night. It looks like Sunday was the scheduled release date for us and only about 40% of the stores in my district received any. And at that, it's a really limited stock. Only 2 per store.

Got one!  Midtown Manhattan.  Tossed on top of the old model.  You were right; I only saw two in the store.

Now to wrestle with Time Warner and get a cable card...
