LG Soundbar switching from BT to OPT

We purchased a Sony Brava 55 and a LG Soundbar AKB74815321 (remote)  While bluetoothing from my laptop to BT on sound bar it will randomly switch to OPT all on it's own.  I thought it was my laptop going to sleep but it's not.

 

By the way.  I am on a Dell Insperion I also bought at Best Buy

 

Looking for a solution please

Welcome to the Best Buy Support Online Forum Community! I’m sorry to hear that your soundbar is having issues with staying connected via Bluetooth.

 

Bluetooth isn’t a very reliable connection as it can better interfered with. Most likely the connection loses signal either from your Laptop, or soundbar’s end. Have you consider a better connection like HDMI, or an aux cable?

 

The only other troubleshooting would be forget all other devices that are Bluetooth besides your soundbar from your laptop. I hope  that works for you!

How do I get in touch with BT Technical Support ? Help Needed

I'm facing problems on my bt email how do i contact bt technical support the phone number assciated is no longer in use

Can you please share what you’re in need of help with? Please also share the model number of the item you’re needing help with. Can you also confirm if by “bt” you mean Bluetooth? However, if you’re seeking assistance for a telecommunications company we’d be unable to assist you further.
