I recently bought a 42 inch Insignia non smart t.v. When switching inputs it will lag greatly with a black screen showing with the sound coming out. The lag is most pronounced when switching to a moving picture for example when I am activly switching to my chromecast while it is already streaming. Sometimes these switches can take upwards of 15 seconds.
Is this normal? The return window for my t.v is coming up very soon and I just want to know if I should return it for a different one or if this is just something that happens with them.

Extreme lagging like you’re experiencing isn’t normal for Insignias TVs. I’m sincerely sorry for my delayed response. I do appreciate the time you’ve taken to share your concerns with us, and seek our advice.
While reviewing the product’s Q&A plus the customer reviews for this purchase it doesn’t appear that the lagging issue you shared is the norm for this unit. I took a peek into your purchase history using the details you shared, and I can see that you were able to return this unit at your local Best Buy. I hope the new set you picked up is working better for you!
