I have an Insignia 2.1 channel sound bar that I've never had any issues with. I just got an Insignia 55" 4K TV and hooked it up to the soundbar. Now the sound bar remote basically doesn't work. You have to press the remote buttons 10-15 times to get it to respond. I'm sure it is using the same channel/signal as the tv, which makes sense. But even pressing the physical buttons on the sound bar its self no longer respond. Any ideas?

Getting a new TV is very exciting! I’m sorry to hear that your Insignia soundbar is acting up. I appreciate the time you’ve taken to share your concerns with us, and for joining our community for some further advice.
Have you checked out our Home Theater Trouble Shooting steps listed here? Most times the issue you’re experiencing is most likely not related to the fact that you purchased a new TV, and have it connected. The issue might be a lose connection, or a firmware issue. Also, how do you have your soundbar connected to your new TV? Please let me know if the troubleshooting steps listed in the link above do not resolve your issue, and I’d be delighted to see what other advice I may be able to provide to you.
