Re: Hard drive

Research the TV model and see what format the hard drive needs to be in and what format the movies need to be.

Re: Hard drive

Hello Thenyu,

Thanks for joining our community to share your questions about your hard drive. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having some difficulties getting your movies to play.

Can you please double check the model number you shared? Model B2430HD is actually an LCD monitor not a TV. To play the content off of your hard drive you’d need to plug into the brains that’s powering the LCD screen.

Let me know if that was the incorrect model number!

Kindly,

Re: Hard drive

Hello Thenyu,

Thank you so much for your reply! I really do appreciate it.

As Mbrguy shared this is most likely a formatting issue. The external hard drive you’re using would need be connected to the computer that’s running the screens to the play the videos. If that doesn’t resolve the issue converting the videos to a more universal format may remedy it as well. Samsung didn’t offer any official formats for this unit, and it may be best to seek their advice as well.

Respectfully,
