Two problems with the TV:
1. Can't tell the difference between regular and HD stations - they look the same. Have Verizon wireless and have the tv connected to the cable box with standard coax cable.
2. When the dvd is used, the picture is very dark and cannot find a setting to improve it.
Thanks

Hello John,
I apologize for the very late reply.
If your programming is coming to your TV using coaxial cable, your TV is displaying all programming at the lowest quality. If possible, connect your cable box by component cables or HDMI and you'll have significantly better results.
You should be able to adjust the picture settings (e.g., brightness, contrast) to improve the picture during DVD playback. I had the same situation initially with my Dynex TV, but it was quickly resolved after tweaking the picture settings.
For more details and instructions, you can find a lot of information in the TV User Manual. Just visit DynexProducts.com, search for your TV model number, and click on the Support/Downloads tab for the manual and other useful downloads.
If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Regards,
