We purchased a Denon AVR-1312 receiver. It is hooked up to our new Samsung LED HD-TV. I have a PS3 hooked up via HDMI cables and a dvd player hooked up via audio and video cables. I can't figure out how to adjust the bass on the receiver. Sometimes it is awfully heavy and the sound needs more treble. Any suggestions?

Tone controls for your unit are adjusted via remote. The tone control button is located underneath the cursor keys on the remote. It will me labeled "Tone". Use cursor keys for the adjustment.

Do you have this hooked up to a 5.1 surround speakers?

Right now we just have two speakers hooked up.

Glad to help, however I did reference the manual online for the resolution

Also do a search for Batpig.  The best website available to find answers about Denon.
