Question.... 1. What is the difference between the Denon AVR-913 and 912?
Why are people posting that they purchased the AVR-913 and it is not available on bestbuy.com?

It is on the website. It's the AVR-1913 and 1912. The 1912 is the 2011 model and the 1913 is the 2012 model. It looks like the 1913 doesn't have anything extra when compared to the 1912 and even loses its HD radio readiness. It also loses one A/V connection. However, it is a bit smaller and 4lbs lighter which is a nice thing. All-in-all, the same unit.

Thank you so much Dval,
I just went to the Denon website and confirmed your specs. It sounds great, I also noticed that Denon is selling the AVR 912 unit and recommeneded MSRP as reduced to $399. When the 913 is available, do you know if BB will be adjusting the price as well?

Nah. The 912 is being clearanced out, that's why the MSRP has dropped. I'm trying to get rid of the last 1-2 in my store so that I can put out the 1913 series. I know that the 1912 price had dropped a little bit in stores and if people are looking at them, I generally let them know that I may be able to reduce the price just to move them since they're clearance.

Thanks again... I also noticed that 913 claims Sirus and 912 does not. True?

No problem. Looks like that is correct. The 1912 has Rhapsody and Pandora streaming and the 1913 has SiriusXM capability along with Pandora.
