I recently purchased a Samsung - 55" Class (54.6" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV with High Dynamic Range. Using a Samsung - 3.1-Channel Soundbar System with 7" Wireless Subwoofer - Black to provide the audio for it. Have service through DirecTV that includes an ultra hd box. Experiencing intermittent cracking noise coming through the audio. Still have the cracking noise after removing the soundbar. Also had the satellite box replaced and the cracking noise continues intermittent. Has anyone experienced this? Were you able to resolve? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Good Morning louisjgarza,
Thank you so much for joining our community for some troubleshooting advice. I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing some intermittent crackling noise from the audio. I’d be happy to see how I can assist you further!
When you were using your set-up from your Samsung to your soundbar how were you connecting it? Via HDMI or Optical Audio?
Since the issue is present when the soundbar isn’t, and you’ve upgraded your set-top box the issue may be with the cords you’re using. Can you please ensure the connections are securely plugged in, and the cords don’t have any kinks in them? The issue shouldn’t be with your TV as you’ve have the internal speakers turned off when using the soundbar.
I look forward to hearing you have things setup to provide some better troubleshooting advice to you.
