OK.. I am stumped. I just bought a Best Buy Insignia "package" I have the Insignia 55" LCD TV (NS-55L780AA12) and the Insignia Soundbar (NS-SBAR-A).
The TV has a Digital Audio out, but the soundbar does not have a Digital Audio In.
The Soundbar hasa L/R RED/WHITE Audio IN , and a cable with the Red/White connectors on both ends, but the TV does not have a place for the RED/WHITE cables.
Am I supposed to but some conversion so the RED/WHITE cables map to a single Analog audio cable , that the TV will accept ? ot am I reduced to using the earphone jack on the TV to the Aux jack on the soundbar when I want to use the soundbar ?
Thought this would be a snap as it was packaged together !

Also, if you google "NS-55L780A12 audio out" the first link is quick setup pdf that shows the connection and cable.

Ok, to connect the package deal you have to buy a mini stereo audio cable. They sold me a dynex one for $16. It works. I believe it should really be included or they should let you know when you buy it that you need additional equipment. 3 trips to the store to get a package deal to work together.

Shady selling a package with missing parts.

Blu-ray players don't come with HDMI cables :/ When we had the package deals, I initially made a 2nd package that included the connection cables but a customer complained that wasn't what was advertised. *shrugs* Associates should always ask about the cables as pretty much nothing comes with the cables to hook them up.
The advertised package itself was an Insignia package deal. Since the manufacturers don't generally make cables (they leave that to Dynex, Rocketfish, Monster, etc...), they don't include them in package deals since it's not "their" product.
I'll apoligize for them. Could have been an honest mistake on the associate's part, but if he/she was following their worksheets then they should have checked on cables.
