I am currently looking to buy a new tv for my living room in my apartment. I've narrowed my choices down to 4 tvs:
LG 55" 4K UHD
Vizio 55" 4K UHD-HDR
Samsung 55" 4K UHD
Insignia 55" 4K UHD
Which one would be the best purchase? Feedback regarding the specific tv, brand, or any other input that would help in my purchase is appreciated.

I am a fan of the Samsung TV sets. However, among the Samsung 4k 55" TV's there may be several variations.
I would also give give strong consideration to the Sony 4K
One thing I normally recommend to people who want to buy a TV is to go look at them in the store on display. Now among the same specific model there may be different sizes. But the pictures should be the same.
Watch the Demos and look for a TV that can produce the blackest black and the whitest white. Generatly speaking those TV's will produce the best color across the board.

Purchasing a new TV is very exciting! I’m happy to hear that you’ve chosen Best Buy for this purchase.
Can you provide some more details about what you’re looking for in a TV? Also, what you intend to watch on your new TV? That may help us make better recommendations for you.
As a general rule of thumb Samsung, Sony, & LG typically have better color and processors. Whereas, Insignia & Vizio tend to be more user friendly with a very good picture at a lower price than the first 3 mentioned above. As bobberuchi mentioned, viewing the TV sets in store can also help. You’re welcome to ask the agents in store to take the TV off of display mode to get more accurate feel of what they’d look like in your apartment.
Let me know if you have specific models you’d like help comparing! I’d be happy to see how I can help you with that!

I would also suggest looking into a Best Buy Credit Card.
Right now you can get either 10% back in rewards or 24 months financing on TV's $799 an over.
I did that when I got mine. Just have to be careful to pay it off on time.
