grapesoda, sorry I compared LG's LED/LCD top tv to Panny's Plama's top TV only becaue LG's Plasma are not very good at all and they can not even compare to Panny's Plasma's plus we were talking LG's top 3D display...
But you are correct the LG plasma's are cheaper then Panny's but can not compete... IMHO and CNET's
Right from Cnet:
While Panasonic's and Samsung's flagship plasma TVs vie for best TV of 2011, LG's best plasma of the year, the PZ950 series, can't match the picture quality score of EVEN THE LESS expensive step-down 3D Panasonics. The main culprit is LG's more grayish shade of black, which washes out what would otherwise be an excellent picture. The TV's robust Internet suite and sleek styling help increase its appeal, but won't help its standing in the eyes of dark-room home theater fans shopping for plasmas in this price range

I just want you to know this. If you get Samsung 3d tv, you'll have to remain still. The guy at best buy told me that samsung's 3D TVs have a very small sweet spot which is like directly in the middle. Don’t expect to watch movies with friends or lying down.
This only applies to LCD's. Viewing angles aren't an issue with plasmas.

I heard people keep talking about W-OLED TV.
What is so great about W-OLED TV? I believe LG Display took W-OLED technology in their TVs.
I read the news that LG's OLED TVs got the BEST of CES 2012.
I wanna know about W-OLED TV. Can any one tell me about it?

5-7k is in the same place as most top of the line TVs and less than some elites. Making them pretty reasonable for the upper end buyers.
To bad I was not born with 20 kidneys for some quick cash.
