Buying a new TV is extremely exciting! Getting it home can definitely be quite the task, and I’d be happy to give you a few tips to help you have a successful journey home.

How do you suggest I secure my new TV during transportation?

If you’re planning on putting the TV in your backseat you can use the seatbelts and bungee them together with a small bungee. You can also recline the passenger to stabilize the box, as long as it doesn’t put too much pressure on the TV.

For our friends that are planning on putting the new TV in their SUV they’re able to utilize the latch rings to bungee the TV into an upright position. Please ensure the bungee isn't too tight or putting pressure on the box.

Why can’t I lay the TV flat?

Large Thin TVs are very fragile. Vibrations, and lack of screen support are the main reason why you shouldn’t ever transport your TV laying down. Most manufacturers intend for the TV to be upright due to that most are packed with Styrofoam corners.
