Free cookies.
Although I used to work for Best Buy as an Geek Squad Agent, none of my advice is to be taken as the official stance that Best Buy will take on your situation. My advice is just that, advice.

Re: small business

Can we get free milk with the free cookies?

I'm sorry for the jokes Gina!!! If I were a small business owner, I'm sure I'd have more ideas for you, but sadly, I am not...

Re: small business

Well since the Reward Zone system now asks employees to inquire if the customer is a business customer, why not take the RWGC into this arena and offer benefits to them. One that comes to mind right away is automatic "Silver" benefits.

I hate that prompt. It doesn't come up on all transactions, but when it does, it seems like it's always when I'm the most slammed. Sorry, I'm not getting into that discussion with a mom buying a BlackBerry for her kid when I have five more customers waiting for credit checks.

Re: small business

You can start by offering Corporate credit accounts in addition to the individual ones offered on the site. My small business has many technology requirements (computer/phones/cameras [still & video]/audio equipment/cell)  and we would love to take advantage of the same types of no interest/low interest offers as individuals.

If we had a Corporate Best Buy account, we wouldn't end up purchasing our equipment through six different vendors and would be able to make all our purchases here.

Re: small business

I guess the biggest thing on my end would be to have th ability to use purchase order in the store.  Almost every other place that I shop gives me the ability to use purchase orders but when I came into Best Buy the people in the store looked at me like I was crazy.  Also it would help to have a business department that I could call and have things ready for me whenI need them.  I used to shop at CompUSA all the time andI could call my guy there and he would grab the product for me and drive it down to me, this was a great thing to have.

Re: small business

You could offer business computers, not the entertainment computers that you currently offer. Business owners don't need blu-ray drives, fancy speakers, media card readers, high end video cards, surround sound, etc.
