What type of computer would be best for day tradeing?

That just involves browsing the internet. Get the absolute cheapest computer you can find. Possibly look at a swap meet and see if you can pick up an old laptop for $20.

It really all depends on how heavy of a day trader you want to be.  If you are serious about doing this I would recomend a computer that has a high amount of RAM and a good video card.  You may want to be able to run multiple monitors abd so you will want a video card that can handle multiple monitors.  The RAM will help you by being able to refresh quickly so you always stay on top of the most up-to-date information.
