Small business needs new computers - help

We are a small appraisal company.  We are running windows xp - all of a sudden our computers are not keeping up with the demands we are putting on them..it's time for new ones.  I am ready to pull all my hair out daily.

We have one that acts as the "server" and two workstations...

Below are the recommendations for our main appraisal software (although it is compatable with Windows 7 now it is not listed on the reccommendations)....  What would you suggest?  Now we have a computer for our "server" should we use an actual "server" instead or keep with the computer?

We don't "play games, etc" on them - we use them for work - our work includes LOTS of photos, storage and multi tasking (internet pages open, etc) ...

Re: Small business needs new computers - help

all the computer sold in best buy are with windows 7.

if u're software is not compatible with windows vista most likely won't be compatible with windows 7.

where is your company located?

i've seen companies going around with tablets especially for appraisal companies this way it's easier to "write" with on the spot. especially for business i'd recommend going intto a store and talk to a geek squad about the server situation. they'll recommend you something free of charge.

you can also get a geek squad to your business to do a consultation, price im not sure, and they will help you recommend you what you'll need. they will take a look at ur current "server" and take a look at how u operate your business. and recommend the best technology to youl.
