I was referred to this site and told if anyone would have the answer to my question, it would be you guys. I recently purchased a Canon P170-DH Desktop printing calculator. I am taking a class called Basic Business Math and Electronic Calculators. I was sure this had to be a fairly straight forward subject and was looking forward to it because I have no proper knowledge of a desktop adding machine's functions.

To the point: Can anyone tell me where I might find the best information about the functions of a 10-key machine? The booklet that came with the machine is a half-step above useless. The fact that the machines keys are not universal and vary widely from company to company is stretching the limits of my search abilities. Looked the machine itself up on-line and came up with no more than a copy of what came with it already.

This is an on-line course through a community college. The instructor's knowledge of the machines is limited to the very old units that are available in the class-room. I work during the hours the classroom is open or I would have him teach me what he knows on the old one, so I could use that to figure out the newer model. 

I need to find a working knowledge of every function that might be available on any given machine. Or any information that might steer me in the right direction to find what I need myself. I greatly appreciate anyone willing to address this.
