I've been graciously given a printer to use for my college classes and things I need to print out. The only problem, I do not have the disk you need to use so the computer will communicate with the printer. So, is there a way to buy the disk?

I would try going to the website of the printers manufacturer. They usually have all the programs and drivers you'll need for free.

Like Rrrrr said, the drivers are easily obtainable by visiting the printer manufacturers website.
A word of advice. If you have a device that mentions Windows Vista as the highest O/S but not Windows 7, its perfectly okay to use the Windows Vista driver package on Windows 7 as its backwards compatible.
