When Best Buy had the preorder five video games deal, I took full advantage of that and preordered my five. I bought the games each time they came out and I made full aware they were registered under the deal. When the last game came, which was Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, that game happened to not be registered under my account and prevented me from getting my reward certificate. I remember specifically asking the employee if this completed all my preorders and he said yes, even congratulating me on doing so. So as a month passed where you had to wait I had no certificate. So after 14 calls to the customer service over the phone, I have still yet to resolve this issue. Is this Best Buy's way of getting you to pay a lot of money for part of a deal and just to not honor it in the end? I wouldn't have preordered all those games if there was no $100 reward certificate at the end. Please help me solve this issue as this is completely bogus. Thanks.

you have to call customer service that happned to me and they fixed it i also had to email them at least 10 times to...

I did but they said I needed a receipt and because the employee told me it was all through, I tossed it. And because I paid win a gift card I can't find the transaction.

Ok new set of questions.

Do you still have the GC used? If so they can use the card to look up what was bought with it and link it.

If not, did you use that GC to purchase anything else on a different transaction? If you did and you have the receipt from that transaction OR that transaction was linked to your RZ account properly then they can retrieve the GC number from that other transaction. Allowing them to then look it up through that GC.

If not either, I'll try to think of other ways.

I do not have the Giftcard anymore sadly that would have been key, and I am not sure if I used it on other things as well.

Do you recall how you got the gift card? if someone gave it to you as a gift, they could maybe track down the purchase. Don't give up the hope! That cool hundo can still be yours!

Do you remember which Videogames were traded in for that specific card (not exact, but at least maybe 1 or 2 titles).


If not then if you don't trade in a ton of games then they can look through your trade in history and pull GC numbers from that (I believe, but am not a 100% they can see the GC number or how much of the GC number)

Either way this may be a big pain and possibly unsolvable. Hopefully a mod can come and help some
