Ther were many deals I wanted to use in march's issue but i never got a mag or coupons now I see there is a new mag with prototype 2 on the front and im sure all the coupons for batman and rage and others are out of date and I still  dont have any mags yet its been over 2months I recieved this lil black folded card that said you benefits have been unlocked yeah thats great but it was a month ago and still no mags but the one I got with paying the 14.99 is that it do I have to buy them at 4.99 every month or two? a little help would be nice thanks in advance

If you bring in your receipt for signing up for the gamer's unlocked membership and tell them about your situation a gaming representative might be give the current issue for free.  I would call store first to see they do that for you, so you can avoid going to the store if do not allow it.

I would also try emailing the Gamer magazine's customer service to see when your first issue will come in.

My first gamer issue also took awhile to ship also.  I think I signed up September and first issue was the November one.  I'm guess 8-10 weeks for your first issue.

Hi c10ne,

Your first magazine should be given to you when you sign up in-store. Your next magazine should arrive by mail in 6-8 weeks.

If you haven't seen your first magazine within the time-frame above, I would recommend you email GMRcustserv@cdsfulfillment.com as himeko123 mentioned.

I "unlocked" my gamer account in mid-March and was given my first issue (March) in a store. 

You are saying the next issue would be mailed in 6-8 weeks then, am I going to be missing April issue?

Should I bring my sign-up receipt to the store and ask for April issue for free?

Hey chaoskim,

The program is designed for the first magazine to be received in-store when you sign up, and the next one is to arrive in the mail.  Stores have not been instructed to provide free issues in the interim.

Then, how does the program cover any magazine and deals in the magazine that falls into "6-8 weeks" waiting time?

In my case, my first mailed issue will be May one or even June (signed up mid-March + 6-8 weeks waiting for the next mail).

If I receive April issue with May issue after 6-8 weeks of waiting, it means all coupons/deals in April issue are just wasted. And it is also part of my subscription.

I am just wondering how BB is handling this kind of issue.

I didn't receive the April Issue either. I signed up in early Feburary and somehow got the March issue mailed to me like 6 weeks later but nothing for April for some reason. I'm kinda surprised how many hoops I have to go through sometimes with unlocked.

Well, I signed up for the unlocked back in February and have NOT received a single issue yet - my store didn't even have a single issue to give me when I signed up.  I sent an email to the publisher in March, then got a reply that I would be getting the magazine starting April.  Well, nothing came, so I sent another email to them.  They replied me once again saying that I should be getting it from May.  I know it's only May 3rd, but somehow I have a bad feeling about this.  This is getting so ridiculous, and I don't even know what else I should do to get my magazines...
