Reward Zone Gamer's Club

I just had a puchase/preorder for Glory of Hercules post.  The promotion on the Gamer Club site listed the promotion listed as 250 Bonus Points for a purchase, which I obviously did.  However, when it posted, the bonus points posted as regular points, not Gamer Points.

Previously, any bonus points mentioned in the Gamer Club 'Special Offer' section posted as Gamer Club points.  This is a major difference as 250 GC points equals a $10 certificate plus 100 points additional added to your total towards your 150 point marker, compared to just a $5 certificate.

I haven't gotten nor seen any indication that there would be a change in the way these things are done.  Can someone please clarify the situation?
